Registry Suggestions

Deciding to register for the big day is not only exciting for the bride and groom but also the guest list as well. Registering for special items helps guests know exactly which gifts to choose, making the selection as simple as possible. The most popular items on registries include glassware, bed linens, cookware, and everyday home necessities. Here are 5 suggestions that might help steer away from the common items to choose from and add even more excitement to your big day.

Julia and Dan

Last weekend The Grand Ballroom had the lovely pleasure of hosting Julia and Dan share their big day. With hints of pink and green floral arrangements, the room lit up compliments of Dogwood Tree Floral Designs. The ivory linens and navy napkins that complimented these vibrant colors were provided by CE Rental.

After the guests arrived, they enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner prepared by Caffé Luna. Dinner included a creamy pasta, shrimp cocktail, fresh fruit, various fine meat choices, and even small dessert options such as homemade cream puffs.

Thanks to Levi of Anything DJ's guests were able to dance the night away and enjoy the views of the light fixtures over downtown Raleigh. While the bride and groom shared their first dance, Glee and Bliss Photography made sure to capture the special moment along with all of the other contagious smiles the entire night.

Once the speeches were made and dinner was enjoyed, everyone grabbed a slice of chocolate Sugarland wedding cake with details of pink roses made of buttercream icing.
