Historic Venues is composed of two unique, National Register of Historic Places locations, The Grand Ballroom and Bennett Bunn Plantation.
The Grand Ballroom is located on the 12th floor of the Historic Capital Club Building in the heart of downtown Raleigh's Fayetteville Street District. The venue can be described as an elegantly beautiful penthouse floor with panoramic views of downtown Raleigh and beyond. Key fetures include 14 foot ceilings, original maple hardwood floors and original art deco molding and detail.
Bennett Bunn Plantation is a historic homestead on 165 acres of gently rolling pastures with tranquil ponds and wooded trails. Located in Zebulon, just 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh, Bennett Bunn Plantation has been designated a Historical Landmark by the Wake County Board of Commissioners. With its pastoral views and open spaces, the farm offers potentially endless settings for any type of wedding ceremony and reception: High country, historic grounds and lawn, pastoral areas, beautiful ponds with gazebos and a rustic lodge.
